Being strong in a weight room or a gym isn’t important to you. It usually is relegated to 20 year old dudes and a small percentage of the rest of the population.

You know what IS important to you? Being able to function in your personal lives and look better doing it. That’s why it is important to work on being stronger in the gym. Being able to move in more positions (hint, hint), being able to move things, pick things up, be self sufficient… THOSE are the things you find important. Even more so as time passes.

So, don’t get stronger in the gym so you can say you are stronger in the gym, and don’t NOT go because you don’t care about that. Go because you care about those other things.
